与之前的企业邮局产品相比，35即时邮最大的特点是增加了企业即时通讯功能，以及一个全新的基于Ajax的webmail.

该版本提供了一个IM客户端:35 EQ，35EQ和邮局使用相同的身份验证系统，用户使用自己的邮箱帐号和密码即可登陆。35EQ集成了企业内部的即时通讯，文件传输等功能，用户也可以在35EQ上进行和自己的企业邮箱相关的操作：如新建邮件，察看邮件等。每当有新邮件时，客户端会弹出邮件提醒通知。
